Take a moment and touch parts of your body that you don’t take the time to acknowledge.

No I don’t mean anything dirty.

I mean your earlobe or behind your knee.  Maybe get adventurous and touch in between your toes.

Pick 3 places to touch and then ask yourself the following questions:

  1. Does this make me feel a positive emotion or a negative emotion?
  2. What images come to mind from this pose?
  3. Who is this person in this pose?

As always you are encouraged to do more, but just get the ball rolling 🙂 The more you are able to take time to figure out the responses your body naturally has the better off you’ll be. As you grow your awareness of self, it will turn into more in-depth responses and honest reactions instead of forced jokes or thoughts.
